Panamar shows its new products in Alimentaria

GRUPO PANSTAR, made up of PANAMAR, COBOPA and PACFREN has been present for another edition of Alimentaria, the greatest fair in the food and drink sector in Spain, and one of the most important in the world.

From his first edition in 1976, it has shown constant growth in both visitor numbers and exhibitor numbers.

For the first time, Alimentaria and the Hostelco fair have been held jointly with a great attendance, internationalisation and business. The synergies achieved confirm that the model of holding both together was a success. According to the organisation's data, there were nearly 150,000 visitors, 30% of them international, from 156 countries, with an economic impact estimated at 200 million Euros. The event occupied 100,000 m2 of net exhibition space, practically the entire area of the enclosure Gran Vía de Fira of Barcelona and more than 300 new products and forthcoming launches were presented.

PANAMAR has taken advantage of its participation to publicise its latest bread and pastries. At its stand, which measured almost 100 m2, the section focusing on the premium PANACEA range stood out, loaves made with care and time using 100% natural ingredients and sourdough. Pastries occupied another characteristic place, the new developments in healthy pastries together with products made with butter standing out. Finally, a space intended for the Horeca channel bringing together the basic and essential products due to their quality and differentiation. The Hoops range with its new flavours and formats are especially important in that. At the stand there is also a Show Cooking area featuring both new developments and ways to prepare traditional products to achieve an exclusive and personalised finish that makes it stand out at the point of sale.

PANAMAR was also present at other spaces in the Hall. It was one of the sponsors of the Oils Bar, a space for the self-guided sampling of the best extra virgin olive oils. One of its latest products, the Croustillante Tradition Long Loaf, was the ideal accompaniment to try the more than 100 different varieties of gourmet olive oils. It's a bread made with the exclusive natural cold fermentation process, notable for its attractive rustic appearance and its exceptional crunchy texture. In addition, PANAMAR was present at the stand called ECO EXPO CENTER, promoted by the Ministry of agriculture and fisheries, food and environment (MAPAMA) and IFLA. Its four leading organic loafs (500g Organic Wheat Loaf, 500g Organic Rye Loaf, 500g Cereals and Seeds Organic Loaf and 500g Organic Spelt Loaf) have been selected to represent the company in this space intended to offer an outline of the variety and quality of the organic products available in Spain.

The balance after the four-day fair was very favourable: "We were able to establish very interesting contacts for our different business areas nationally and internationally." And what is more important, it has allowed us to obtain data on new trends in consumption and future technologies, which will be very useful for adapting our forthcoming developments to the real needs of our customers."

The next edition of the platform Alimentaria and Hostelco will be held from 20 to 23 April 2020 at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via enclosure.
