The origins of Panamar lie in a small town in Burgos, where Epifanio Martínez and his wife Digna rose early each morning to make the bread they later had delivered to their neighbours. Nowadays, the third generation of the Martínez family, after a long stint in the bakery sector, manages Panamar, which has become one of the national leaders in the sector. Its essence is still pregnant with the values learnt during childhood: honesty, effort and commitment.
In the 70s, there began in Cantabria REPOSTERÍAS MARTÍNEZ, a confectionery production and distribution company, reaching a leading position in the sector, offer brand, quality, service and innovation.
It arose from the Martínez family, through the Grupo PANSTAR, it acquired 100% of the shares of PANAMAR (previously called NUDESPA. New Baking Developments)
The Grupo expanded its presence in the Valencia Region with two new factories, one in Anna and the other in Albuixech. Both have the most advanced technology in the sector.
The company consolidated in the frozen dough sector.
NUDESPA renews its corporate image and changed its name to Panamar. Moreover, it increased the production lines of its current facilities and automated its logistical warehouse.
The Group expanded with a new manufacturing plant at Vilamalla and invested in R+D in the development of new product lines for the company.
Continuous investments in innovation, technology and research in formulas, processes and ingredients have made it possible for Panamar to launch onto the market new product ranges that have become leaders in the market: Sourdoughs, Hoops, Loaves, Suprême Pastries.
